RTS-90 Roll Tension System


The JARDIS INDUSTRIES RTS-90 Roll Tension System eliminates the need for pressmen to constantly monitor and adjust the braking force on Community or Urbanite roll stands. The simple pneumatic closed-loop feedback system is easy to retrofit to existing presses. It enables pressmen to maintain a uniform web tension level throughout the rundown of the paper reel, resulting in better register and cutoff control. In addition, brake life is extended as compared to manually adjusted systems.
